Hydrogenated Castor Oil
An insoluble wax in a white flake form that is produced by adding hydrogen in the presence of a nickel catalyst to castor oil. It is primarily used in plastic auxiliary agents, lubricants, greases, surfactants, coatings, printing inks, cosmetics manufacturing and mould release agents.
Features:
- Hard, brittle, insoluble wax in a white flake form.
- Extremely insoluble in water.
- The only material to produce 12-hydroxystearic acid.
