Hexane
Hexane is a colourless, volatile liquid with a mild, fuel-like odour.
Features:
- Used in the adhesives industry and in the extraction of vegetable oils, grease, water and soil.
- The main use of Hexane is as a solvent to extract edible oils from seed and vegetable crops like soybeans, peanuts and corn.
- Hexane can also be used as a solvent for glues (rubber and cement adhesives), varnishes,
and inks, as a cleaning agent (degreaser) in the printing industry or the liquid in low
temperature thermometers.
Packaging:
Hexane is available in IBCs (1500 litre bulk containers) and drums.
